Republica: Temple of Color and Sound is an installation and performance-art project that employs the use of word, sound, technology and interactive installation art to meditate on a speculative turn of events during the 1811 Slave Revolt in Louisiana. Republica explores the implications of a fictional victory rather than defeat  and is a speculative reimagining of the Gulf Coast as free territory within North America.
